Gunde Jhallumandi (2008)

Gunde Jhallumandi (roughly "the heart skipped a beat") is a 2008 Telugu romantic drama directed by Madan, who had earlier made the family drama Pellaina Kothalo. It stars Uday Kiran, the boyish romantic hero of hits such as Nuvvu Nenu and Manasantha Nuvve, opposite Aditi Sharma. The story follows a young man whose love story is complicated by misunderstandings and family obstacles, told with gentle humour, emotion and songs rather than heavy action. It is one of the later films of Uday Kiran's career, and it suits viewers who enjoy the soft, sentimental Telugu romances of the 2000s. In Hindi it is uploaded as Gundey.
