Dil Aur Deewar ("heart and wall") is a 1978 Hindi family drama directed by K. Bapayya, one of the Telugu directors who made many Madras-produced Hindi films with Jeetendra in that era. Jeetendra and Moushumi Chatterjee play the romantic leads, with Ashok Kumar as the family patriarch and Sarika and Rakesh Roshan in support. The story sets love against the walls that family pride, status and misunderstanding put up between people, and resolves them through song, sentiment and melodrama. The music is by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. It is typical of the comfortable family entertainers that made Jeetendra a dependable star of the period.
