Krishnarjunulu (1982)

Krishnarjunulu is a 1982 Telugu film directed by Dasari Narayana Rao, one of the most prolific and influential Telugu filmmakers. It is a two-hero film pairing Krishna and Sobhan Babu, then among the industry's top stars, with Sridevi as the heroine. As the title, recalling Krishna and Arjuna, suggests, the story centres on the bond between two men, tested by love, family and conflict. Little else about the plot is widely documented. A nostalgic watch for fans of early-80s Telugu cinema and of Sridevi's southern years.
