Sid comes back to Kasauli, the hill town where he grew up, and the visit brings back the summer when he and his best friend Sam were inseparable, until a new girl, Nayantara, arrived and feelings got in the way. Flitting between the present and that last school summer, Purani Jeans is a nostalgic coming-of-age story about friendship, loyalty and the moment youth ends. Directed by Tanushri Chatterji Bassu, it stars Tanuj Virwani and Aditya Seal, with Brazilian model Izabelle Leite, and Sarika and Rajit Kapur as parents. The title nods to the famous Ali Haider pop song about old jeans and old friends.
