Laddu Babu has ballooned to an enormous weight, and every proposal his family arranges ends in rejection. With his dreams of marriage fading, he sets out to win a woman's heart on his own, and his romantic attempts, rivals and family pressures lead to a run of comic situations with a gentle core about self-worth. The film is a Telugu comedy from Ravi Babu in which Allari Naresh, the leading comedy star of the time, played the title role under extensive prosthetic make-up, a transformation that was the film's main talking point. Bhumika Chawla and Poorna co-star.
