Jai Lava Kusa (2017)

As boys, Jai, Lava and Kusa were triplets who performed together in their uncle's drama troupe, but Jai, who stammered, was mocked and pushed aside by his brothers, and a disaster drove them apart. Years later Lava is a soft-spoken bank officer and Kusa a cheeky con man, and their paths cross in a way that sets off a comic exchange of identities. Then the third brother returns: Jai has grown up into Raavana, a dreaded strongman in Odisha who wants to be loved and is ready to destroy anyone who stands in the way. N. T. Rama Rao Jr. plays all three brothers, and his menacing, stammering Jai was widely praised as one of the strongest performances of his career. The film was produced by his elder brother Nandamuri Kalyan Ram under the family banner.
