Prem is the fun-loving nephew of a big, noisy joint family. When he accidentally helps a young woman, Sanjana, escape a forced marriage, he learns she is the heiress to a fortune that her two feuding, gangster uncles are scheming to control. Prem decides to hide her in his own house, passing her off under a false identity, and then sets about winning over the uncles by turning their rivalry against them, with a series of comic deceptions. Ready is a remake of the 2008 Telugu hit of the same name and was one of Salman Khan's biggest successes of the period that followed Wanted and Dabangg. Its songs, especially "Character Dheela" and "Dhinka Chika", were huge hits.
