Vamsoddharakudu (2000)

Vamsoddharakudu ("the one who saves the lineage") is a Telugu family action drama directed by Sarath, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna with Ramya Krishnan and Sakshi Shivanand, and veteran Krishnam Raju. As the title suggests, the story centres on family honour, rivalries and the son who must uphold his father's name, mixing emotion, songs and the kind of punch-dialogue action Balakrishna is known for. In Hindi it circulates as Mera Faisla.
