Satrangee Parachute is a Hindi children's film built around a group of young friends from a small hill village and their determination to get hold of a rainbow-coloured parachute, a quest that takes them far beyond the world they know. The children are the heroes of the story, while familiar character actors such as Jackie Shroff, Kay Kay Menon, Rupali Ganguly, Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra play the adults they meet along the way, with Rajpal Yadav supplying much of the comedy. It is a gentle, family-friendly adventure about friendship and kindness.
