Vinda Sharma, the head of a giant business group, lives with a secret: a son from an earlier relationship whom he sent away years ago. When Vinda and his elder son are shot dead, his widow Indrani calls the young man home. Taking a modest job in the company under an assumed identity, he watches the boardroom, charms the staff and quietly works out which of the people around him had a hand in the murders. Agnyaathavaasi ("one living in hiding") was Pawan Kalyan's 25th film and his third with writer-director Trivikram after Jalsa and Attarintiki Daredi. It marked Anirudh Ravichander's debut as a composer in Telugu. Despite huge expectations the film disappointed at the box office, and it drew attention when the makers of the French film Largo Winch raised objections over similarities to their story.
