Sadiyaan (2010)

Sadiyaan begins in the turmoil of 1947, when families on both sides of the new border in Punjab lost homes, children and certainty overnight. Rekha and Rishi Kapoor play a couple who raise a boy as their own, and as he grows up, played by Luv Sinha, questions of birth, faith and belonging come back to test everyone who loves him; Hema Malini plays another mother with a claim on his story. The film was the debut of Luv Sinha, son of Shatrughan Sinha, and was notable for bringing Rekha and Hema Malini into the same cast. Adnan Sami composed the music. It was the last film directed by Raj Kanwar, who had earlier made Deewana and Jeet.
