Lucky (2012)

Lucky is a breezy Kannada romantic comedy pairing Yash, then a rising young star, with Ramya, one of the top heroines of Kannada cinema at the time. Yash plays a cheerful, cheeky young man who falls for Ramya's character and sets about winning her heart through a string of comic schemes, with comedian Sharan as his partner in mischief and a pet dog playing its part in the story. Arjun Janya's songs and the easy chemistry of the leads carry the film, which sits among the light romances Yash made just before his rise to action stardom with films like Googly and the K.G.F. series.
