Indian (2001)

Sunny Deol plays a fearless senior police officer whose loyalty is to the country and nothing else. When a deadly terrorist network strikes, he finds that the enemy has friends in high places, including people inside his own department and government. Refusing to back down even when it costs him dearly at home, he fights both the terrorists and the traitors who help them. Indian is a patriotic action film made in the style of the Sunny Deol hits of that era, with fiery speeches, big action set pieces and Shilpa Shetty as his wife. It was directed by Tamil filmmaker N. Maharajan.
