Description

Rakshana ("protection") is a 1993 Telugu police action film starring Nagarjuna as a tough, uncompromising officer who will not bend to criminals or the politicians who shelter them. Shobana and Roja play the female leads. Made in the years just after Nagarjuna's breakthrough with Shiva, it gave him an action-hero role in the angry-cop style that was popular at the time, with M. M. Keeravani composing the songs. It has been seen in Hindi under the name Bombay Police.
