Nani is a mild-mannered software employee whose only wish is a peaceful, ordinary married life, ideally with a gentle, traditional bride. Instead, through a series of misunderstandings, he ends up married to Bullet, a stunning young woman who turns out to be the head of a notorious gang, and who is not interested in giving it up. Terrified, Nani spends much of the film trying to find a way out of the marriage while dodging her henchmen and her enemies. James Bond is a broad Telugu comedy built around the reversal of the usual hero and heroine roles, with Allari Naresh, the leading comic actor of Telugu cinema in his generation, as the hapless husband.
