KCR (Keshava Chandra Ramavath) (2024)

KCR (Keshava Chandra Ramavath) is a 2024 Telugu film starring comedian Rocking Rakesh, best known from Telugu television comedy, in his first big lead role, with Annanya Krishnan as the heroine. Rakesh plays a young man from a Lambadi tanda, a tribal hamlet in Telangana, who stands up for his village against those who exploit it; the title nods to the state's best-known politician, whose initials the hero shares. The film mixes rural drama, comedy and action. It suits viewers who enjoy village stories with a strong regional flavour, here under its Hindi title Gaon Ka Rakhwala.
