Tholi Valapu (2001)

Tholi Valapu, meaning first love, is the Telugu romantic drama that introduced Gopichand, son of the late director T. Krishna, as a leading man, opposite Sneha in one of her early Telugu roles. Directed by Muthyala Subbaiah, known for family dramas, it follows a young couple whose romance is threatened by family pride and hostile elders, with suspense and action building towards the climax. Gopichand later found success first as a villain and then as an action hero.
