Puli Vesham (2011)

Puli Vesham ("tiger's disguise") is a 2011 Tamil action film directed by P. Vasu, the filmmaker behind hits such as Chinna Thambi and Chandramukhi. It stars R. K. in the lead alongside Karthik, one of the most popular Tamil heroes of the 1980s and 1990s, here in a more senior role, with Sadha as the female lead. It follows the commercial template of action, family emotion and comedy that Vasu worked in for most of his career. The film had a limited run and is little discussed today, but it will interest fans of Karthik's later work.
