Nani has never forgiven his elder brother's wife Jyothi for the way life changed after she came into the family. When she is posted to Warangal as a transport officer, he goes with her, grumbling, and falls for a lively local girl, Pallavi. Then Jyothi's refusal to bend the rules angers Shiva, a cold-blooded criminal who runs a racket in the area, and Nani realises that the woman he has been resenting needs him. MCA, a Dil Raju production, was a big success for Nani in his 'natural star' phase, reuniting him with Sai Pallavi after Fidaa's success and showing Vijay Varma, later known for Hindi films, as a menacing villain.
