Kush is a successful gynaecologist with a playboy streak and no interest in settling down. Pressured into marriage, he agrees to wed Khushi, a girl he knew at school, assuming she is still the shy, simple classmate he remembers. Instead she turns out to be bold, free-spirited and fond of a drink, and the newlyweds clash at every step until they start to understand each other. Chamak ("sparkle") is a Kannada romantic comedy from Suni, the director of Simple Agi Ondh Love Story. It came after Rashmika Mandanna's debut hit Kirik Party and helped make her a star, while Ganesh plays to his strength as a charming romantic lead.
