My Friend Ganesha 2 (2008)

My Friend Ganesha 2 continues the formula of the 2007 children's hit, in which Lord Ganesha appears to a lonely young boy as an animated friend who guides him, plays with him and helps him through his troubles. This time Ali Haji plays the boy, with Upasana Singh and Manoj Joshi among the adults around him, and the story again blends live action with animation, simple moral lessons and devotional songs. Made with very young viewers in mind, it is a gentle, colourful film especially popular around Ganesh Chaturthi.
