Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayegi (1993)

Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayegi is a 1993 Hindi romantic drama directed by Mahesh Bhatt and made for television rather than for cinemas. Pooja Bhatt plays a young woman who wants to make it in the film world, and Rahul Roy, fresh from the success of Aashiqui, plays the man who loves her, with Avinash Wadhawan completing the triangle. The story draws on the world of struggling actors that Bhatt knew well. Like Aashiqui, it was conceived around its songs, and Anu Malik's soundtrack, especially the title song, was a hit in its own right. A nostalgic watch for fans of early-90s film music and the Bhatt school of romance.
