Sirivantha (2006)

Sirivantha ("the rich one") is a Kannada family drama directed by S. Narayan, starring Vishnuvardhan as a selfless elder brother who works hard to bring up his younger siblings and sees them rise in life. As they marry and prosper, the question becomes whether the family will stay united and what the man who gave it everything gets back. Built on brotherly love and sacrifice, it is a remake of the Tamil hit Vaanathaippola, with Vishnuvardhan's warm screen presence at its heart.
