Jawab (1985)

Jawab ("The answer") is a 1985 Hindi drama directed by Ravi Tandon, starring Raj Babbar and Smita Patil, who made several films together in this period, with Danny Denzongpa in a major role. As the title suggests, it is a story about wrongs that demand an answer, combining crime, family conflict and the pursuit of justice in the style of mainstream Hindi cinema of the mid-1980s. It is not among the best-known films of its stars, but offers the pairing of Smita Patil and Raj Babbar along with Danny's strong screen presence.
