Raju is a likeable young man with one embarrassing problem: he is a kleptomaniac, unable to stop himself from pocketing whatever catches his eye, much to the despair of his father, played by Rajendra Prasad. When he falls in love and the girl's family invites him to their village for the wedding preparations, he has to keep his habit hidden among a large household with plenty to steal. The comedy grows out of his attempts to control himself and the chaos when he fails. The film was directed by Sanjana Reddy, a woman director, and pairs Raj Tarun with Hindi actress Amyra Dastur.
