Sanam Aap Ki Khatir (1992)

Sanam Aap Ki Khatir ("for your sake, beloved") is a small 1992 Hindi romantic film directed by Kaka Sharma, starring Bhupendra and Deepika Chikhalia, with comedian Rakesh Bedi in support. Deepika Chikhalia had become a household name a few years earlier for playing Sita in the television serial Ramayan, and like several of her co-stars she then tried her luck in feature films, which makes this film something of a curiosity for viewers who know her from that role. It follows the usual pattern of the period's modest musical romances, with songs, family obstacles and comic relief.
