Three young men are close friends in a small town. When a friend from the city turns to them because the family of the woman he loves opposes the match, they decide to help the couple elope, whatever the danger. The operation succeeds, but at a terrible price to the three of them, and what they learn afterwards about the couple they saved forces them to ask what friendship and sacrifice really mean. Samuthirakani remade his own Tamil hit Naadodigal (2009) in Telugu, with Ravi Teja, Allari Naresh and Siva Balaji as the friends and Abhinaya repeating her role from the original. Sundar C. Babu, who scored the Tamil version, also composed the music. It circulates in Hindi as Mera Krodh.
