Lagan (1971)

Lagan ("devotion") is a 1971 Hindi film directed by T. R. Ramanna, a Madras-based filmmaker who made several Hindi pictures, starring Nutan with Parikshat Sahni and Prem Chopra. As its title suggests, it is a story of devotion and perseverance in love and family, set against the scheming of others, with songs in the style of the period. Prem Chopra plays the villain.
