Description

Gaurav has run the household and fussed over his widowed father Janardan for years, more parent than son. When he falls for Sheekha, a lively young woman, he discovers that her guardian is a former college sweetheart of his father's. Gaurav and Sheekha decide to bring the two older people together, but Janardan is shy, set in his ways and easily panicked, and a crowd of meddling relatives and neighbours keep making things worse. Priyadarshan's warm, chaotic comedy rests on the father-son pairing of Paresh Rawal and Akshaye Khanna, who had worked with the director on Hungama and Hulchul, and on the familiar Priyadarshan ensemble of comic actors.
