S/O Satyamurthy (2015)

Viraj has grown up in luxury as the son of the much-loved industrialist Satyamurthy. When his father dies suddenly, the family learns he owed huge sums. Viraj could walk away, but he decides to repay everyone and honour his father's word, giving up the house, the cars and even his engagement. Working as a wedding planner, he falls for Sameera and finds himself at a destination wedding where her family's past and a dangerous rural strongman become part of his story. Writer-director Trivikram is known for sharp, witty dialogue, and the film is built around values rather than villains: it is a story about what a person is worth when the money is gone. Kannada star Upendra appears in a key supporting role.
