Reshmi Roomal (1961)

Reshmi Roomal ("the silk handkerchief") is a 1961 Hindi film directed by Harsukh Bhatt, starring a young Manoj Kumar, a few years before his breakthrough, together with Shakila, the actress of Aar Paar and CID, and K. N. Singh, the classic screen villain. It mixes romance with crime and suspense, with the handkerchief of the title playing a part in the story, and is a pleasant black-and-white curiosity for fans of the era.
