Chupp (1997)

Chupp (1997) is a crime drama directed by Ambrish Sangal, starring Jeetendra and Om Puri with Somy Ali. As its title, meaning silence, suggests, the story turns on what people are afraid to say: witnesses kept quiet, wrongdoing covered up and the men who decide to break that silence. It belongs to the final stretch of Jeetendra's run as a leading man and to Somy Ali's brief film career in the 1990s.
