Maari 2 (2018)

Maari, the cocky local don of Chennai's waterfront who loves pigeon racing, is back, and this time two forces enter his life. One is Araathu Aanandhi, a fearless, chatterbox auto-rickshaw driver who has decided that Maari is the man for her, however hard he tries to shake her off. The other is Beeja, a vengeful criminal with a score to settle from the past, played by Malayalam star Tovino Thomas in his Tamil debut. This sequel to Maari (2015) keeps the comic swagger but adds more emotion. Its song "Rowdy Baby", choreographed by Prabhu Deva and danced by Dhanush and Sai Pallavi, became one of the most watched Indian film songs ever online. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
