Goonj (1989)

This Goonj, "echo", is a Hindi film starring Rakesh Roshan and Reena Roy, with Kader Khan in support, released in 1989. Its cast points to a film made earlier in the decade, when Rakesh Roshan was still working mainly as an actor; it is not the 1989 Kumar Gaurav and Juhi Chawla film of the same name. The story combines romance with suspense and family drama. Few details of its making are widely documented, so this page keeps to the basics.
