Subramanyam and Sravani are both convinced that their lives have failed, and both have come to the same place intending to die. Meeting there by chance, they make a strange pact: they will spend a little time together before carrying out their plan. As the days pass, the two find laughter, friendship and something more, even as the reasons that brought them to the edge return to test them. Puri Jagannadh's second film as director mixes romance, comedy and melancholy in an offbeat way for its time, and it gave Ravi Teja one of his first major lead roles before his breakout with Idiot. Chakri's songs were popular, and the film helped establish the Puri Jagannadh and Ravi Teja partnership.
