Kedi is a 2006 Tamil romantic drama set on a college campus, directed by Jyothi Krishna and produced by his father A. M. Rathnam. Ravi Krishna, the young star of 7G Rainbow Colony, plays a student caught between two young women, and the rivalry between them grows from campus games into something far more serious. The film is notable for its cast: it was Tamannaah's first Tamil film, and Ileana D'Cruz, who had just become a star in Telugu with Devadasu, also made her Tamil debut here. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music, and the songs were popular with young audiences.
