Sweekar Kiya Maine (1983)

Sweekar Kiya Maine ("I accepted") is a 1983 social drama pairing Vinod Mehra and Shabana Azmi. The title points to a story of a woman's decision about love and marriage, and the consequences she accepts. It is one of the lesser-known films of both stars from a busy decade, made in the tradition of domestic dramas built around a strong central performance.
