Lucky is a gifted plant scientist with one big problem: his mind wanders so badly that he forgets what he is doing halfway through doing it, a habit that has already ruined one engagement. When he falls for Nandana, a cheerful dance teacher, he goes to great lengths to hide his condition from her and especially from her strict father, who is wary of him from the start. Every lapse threatens to expose him, and a jealous rival is ready to take advantage. Built around Nani's natural comic timing, Maruthi's film was one of the surprise hits of 2015 in Telugu cinema and confirmed Nani as a dependable star of clean, likeable comedies. Gopi Sundar's songs were popular, and the film was remade in Kannada as Sundaranga Jaana (2016).
