Vande Mataram (2010)

Vande Mataram is a counter-terrorism action thriller made in Malayalam and Tamil. Mammootty plays a determined police officer who is charged with stopping a terror group, and Arjun Sarja plays a fellow officer whose own background and loyalties come into question as the hunt intensifies. The two men, wary of each other at first, must cooperate to prevent attacks on the country. Sneha plays the lead woman, and the music is by D. Imman. The film was notable as a meeting of Malayalam superstar Mammootty and Tamil action star Arjun, and its patriotic theme is reflected in its title, the national song.
