Irumbu Kuthirai (2014)

Irumbu Kuthirai ("Iron horse", meaning a motorbike) is a Tamil action romance set in Puducherry. Atharvaa plays a young man with an unusual caution about speed, who would rather ride slowly than race. When he falls for a young woman played by Priya Anand, he is pulled into a world of bikers, rivalry and danger, and is forced to confront both his fear and a menacing gang leader. The film puts its money into its bike stunts and chase sequences, with Raai Laxmi in a glamorous supporting part and Vietnamese-American action star Johnny Tri Nguyen as the villain. It is an easy, stylish entertainer for fans of motorbikes and speed.
