88 Antop Hill (2003)

88 Antop Hill is a 2003 Hindi murder mystery directed by Kushan Nandy, who much later made Babumoshai Bandookbaaz. Rahul Dev, Atul Kulkarni and Shweta Menon lead the cast, and the story revolves around a killing linked to the address of the title, in the Antop Hill area of Mumbai, and the investigation that follows. It is a compact, low-budget thriller of the early multiplex era, relying on suspense and performances rather than songs and spectacle. Atul Kulkarni was then fresh from his National Award-winning turn in Hey Ram.
