Jab We Met (2007)

Aditya, the gloomy heir to a Mumbai business empire, walks out of his life after a heartbreak and boards a train at random. In his compartment is Geet, a Sikh girl from Bhatinda who never stops talking, never doubts herself and has a plan to elope with her boyfriend. When she misses the train because of him, Aditya feels obliged to get her home, and the journey across Punjab and Himachal changes them both. Jab We Met was a huge success and is widely counted among the best-loved Hindi romances. Kareena Kapoor won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for Geet, whose lines are still quoted, and Pritam's songs such as Tum Se Hi and Mauja Hi Mauja were chartbusters. It was shot in Punjab, Shimla and Manali, and was remade in Tamil as Kanden Kadhalai.
