Sajjan Singh lives in Canada and cares more about fitting in than about his Sikh heritage. When a mysterious turban comes into his possession, he discovers that wearing it gives him incredible strength and other powers, and he soon becomes a local superhero. But the powers come with responsibility, and he must learn what the turban really stands for before he can use it to fight the villain threatening the people around him. Super Singh was one of the first superhero films in Punjabi cinema, built as a family comedy around Diljit Dosanjh, Punjabi music's biggest star, and reunited him with director Anurag Singh, with whom he had made the Jatt and Juliet films and Punjab 1984.
