Laawaris (1999)

Laawaris ("orphan" or "unclaimed") is a 1999 Hindi film directed by Shrikant Sharma, with Jackie Shroff, Akshaye Khanna and Manisha Koirala. It is a separate film from the 1981 Amitabh Bachchan hit of the same name. It came at the time Akshaye Khanna had just been seen in Border and Manisha Koirala was among the leading actresses of the decade. The film mixes action with family drama, but it made little impact and reliable details about its story are limited, so it is mainly for fans of its cast.
