Rangeela and Guddu are cousins who sing at weddings and functions across Haryana and are not above a shady side deal for extra money. When they are offered a big payout to kidnap a young woman, the job seems simple, until they realise who they are up against: Billu Pahelwan, a feared local strongman with ties to the khap panchayats, and a man with whom Rangeela has a painful history. Subhash Kapoor, director of Phas Gaye Re Obama and Jolly LLB, mixes crime comedy with a pointed look at honour killings and khap justice. Ronit Roy is a memorably menacing villain, and Arshad Warsi and Amit Sadh make a likeable pair. The music is by Amit Trivedi.
