Bharat Bhushan, the off-key amateur singer and income-tax clerk who drove an entire dinner party mad in Bheja Fry, is back. This time he wins a trip on a luxury cruise after a TV quiz, and on board he fastens onto Ajit Talwar, a powerful businessman who fears this tax-department man is investigating him. Talwar's attempts to manipulate Bharat only make matters worse, and a series of mishaps leaves the two men stranded together, where the bully and the bore must learn to survive each other. Vinay Pathak reprises his signature role, with Kay Kay Menon as his exasperated foil. The first Bheja Fry (2007), adapted from the French comedy Le Dîner de Cons, was a surprise sleeper hit; this sequel takes the character into an original story.
