Bachi (2000)

Bachi is a 2000 Telugu film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh, made in the same year as his breakthrough Badri. Jagapathi Babu plays the title character, with Neelambari as the heroine and Prakash Raj in a strong supporting role. It is an early example of the Puri style: an attitude-filled hero, sharp, punchy dialogue and a mix of romance and action. It is one of the less-remembered films from the start of his career, and the Hindi version is sold as Main Hoon Hero Khiladi.
