Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini ("the Krishna river brought the two together") is a Telugu romance from 2015 and director R. Chandru's remake of his own Kannada film Charminar (2013). Sudheer Babu plays a man who returns to his village for a school reunion and recalls his first love, played by Nanditha Raj, and the long journey from their school days to adult life. It is a nostalgic, gently told love story about first love, ambition and the people who shape us. Posani Krishna Murali appears in support. The original Charminar was a well-received Kannada hit.
