Avi has grown up in the United States with every comfort his rich father can buy, and spends money without a thought. Fed up, his father sends him and his cousin Bhasha to India, where they must live in Hyderabad on a small monthly stipend while completing a course. Thrown into the chaos of an ordinary Indian life, the boys struggle with crowded lodgings, empty pockets and local politics, while Avi falls for a young woman and slowly finds a sense of purpose. ABCD is a Telugu remake of the 2013 Malayalam comedy of the same name starring Dulquer Salmaan, with Allu Sirish in the lead and former child star Bharath as his sidekick.
