Sharabha (2018)

Sharabha is a Telugu fantasy drama with devotional themes, named after the fierce mythological form associated with Lord Shiva and the Narasimha legend. Newcomer Aakash Kumar plays a young man whose family and village are threatened by a black-magic practitioner seeking supernatural power, and the story builds to a battle between good and evil fought partly in the realm of the gods. Veteran actress Jaya Prada plays his mother and Mishti Chakraborty the heroine. The film relies heavily on visual effects to stage its mythological sequences.
